How the wind pressure is calculated

The basic wind speed is adjusted for site altitude, distance from the ocean and exposure inside a town to give an exposure factor, which is then applied to derive the peak velocity pressure acting on the structure.

What's this calculator used for?

This free calculator helps calculate wind loading force which would be applied to an outdoor structure. Wind speed is input and wind pressure and force are calculated as an input for further structural analysis.
